Uzbekistan delegation led by the Minister of Emergency Situations Abdulla Kuldoshev took part in the meeting of Heads of Departments of the SCO Member States responsible for Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations, in Delhi.

Members of the delegation met with the leadership of the Ministry of Home Affairs of India. During the talks with Minister Amit Shah and other officials, it was noted that thanks to the sincere and friendly relations between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, cooperation between the two countries has developed dynamically. It was noted that the mutual visits of the leaders of the two countries are an important factor in bringing bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.

The Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan Abdulla Kuldoshev and the Minister of State for Home Affairs of India Nityanand Rai signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan and the National Disaster Management Authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs of India on cooperation in prevention and elimination of emergencies.
