Ministry of Finance held a meeting with representatives of the FDA. It was attended by Deputy Minister Odilbek Isakov, Director of the Public Debt Department Zhasur Karshibayev and Director of the Department of International Financial Relations Azhiniyaz Kaipnazarov, as well as Executive Director for Operations of the FDA Jean-Pierre Marcelli and head of the representative office of the FDA in Uzbekistan Vanson Copen.

This meeting was held within the framework of the visit of the Executive Director for Operations of the FDA, Jean-Pierre Marcelli, to Uzbekistan on June 24-26, 2021. This is the first visit by such a high-ranking representative of the FAR leadership during the agency's activities in the republic.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss projects implemented by the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the FAR . Following the meeting, the parties reached agreements on further joint cooperation and the FDA’s participation in the process of economic reforms of Uzbekistan.
