2021-04-24 | Politics

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Parvoz mahalla of Yashnabad district and got acquainted with the population's living conditions.

Measures are being taken in Uzbekistan to identify growth points in each mahalla, attract the population to entrepreneurship and self-employment, solve communal problems and improve the territories. The state of activities in this direction was reviewed during the visit to Parvoz mahalla.

There are 41 apartment buildings in the mahalla, which are serviced by the Shinam Uy-Joy service company. The Head of the state visited the office of the company.

Around-the-clock dispatch service has been established here. 35 permanent, more than 20 seasonal jobs have been created. There is also a branch of the People’s Bank in the building.

There are preschool institutions, schools, sports grounds in the mahalla. The President spoke with the children playing here and expressed his best wishes.

“For me, the greatest happiness is to see that our children are healthy. We try to create all the conditions for you to acquire knowledge, professions, and go in for sports. I wish you to study well, grow up as people worthy of our ancestors Al-Khorezmi, Mirzo Ulugbek, capable of fulfilling the dreams of your parents”, the President said.

There are 157 trade and service entities operating in the mahalla. It is planned to implement 6 projects worth 73 billion UZS this year and employ 310 people.

“This is one of the largest mahallas in Tashkent with a population of over 10.2 thousand people. The activity carried out here should be an example for other mahallas”, the President said.

Responsible persons were instructed to improve all 524 mahallas of the capital, allocate funds for each of them and approve their projects.

A conversation with representatives of the older generation and the public took place here.

“I am glad to meet you this bright month. Every time I talk with young people, elders, it gives me new strength, inspires me to new plans. Every opinion of people reinforces a sense of responsibility. If people are satisfied, it will not remain without a reward”, the President said.
