President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has got acquainted with the working process at the Tashkent Metallurgy Plant just launched.

In terms of technical and technological capacities, the enterprise is one of the major industrial complexes in the international market. Equipment manufactured in 27 countries, including Italy, Germany, Russia, Austria, Switzerland, South Korea, is installed here. Systems of automation and control of manufacturing processes, planning and production management have been introduced.

Crucially, green technologies are applied here extensively. The facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art exhaust gas collection, wastewater treatment and other equipment to reduce emissions and comply with environmental regulations.

The plant representatives reported on the cooperation system. They told the President that orders are already there from dozens of enterprises.

“Due to problems associated with access to metal raw materials, our industry has hardly entertained a robust production chain. With the launch of this plant, a chain of production of metallurgical goods in demand will be formed. A solid foundation will emerge for the creation of hundreds of new enterprises in the regions,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

The head of state also visited the showroom of the mill, where he examined product samples.

Then the President planted a tree in honor of the factory’s opening.
