The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The sides exchanged views on implementation of activities envisaged within the framework of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the CIS and Russia's chairmanship in the SCO.

The schedule and other organizational issues of the upcoming bilateral events at various levels, including regular meetings of Uzbekistan – Russia Joint Commission at the level of heads of government and Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation were also discussed during the conversation.
