CCI hosts a meeting with Lithuanian delegation

First Deputy Chairman of the CCI I. Jasimov met with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania I. Šiaulienė, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
I. Šiaulienė expressed the readiness of the Lithuanian side to further develop and deepen cooperation with Uzbekistan, including within the framework of the new European Union Strategy for Central Asia and Belt and Road project.
The parties noted that transport and logistics, resort and health tourism in Lithuania, as well as historical tourism in Uzbekistan could serve as priority areas for business cooperation.
According to Uzbekistan CCI, there are 14 companies with participation of Lithuanian investments in Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to work out the issues of establishing close cooperation between Uzbekistan CCI and Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists and the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts.
