Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov held talks with Secretary General of Malaysian – Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce – MUCC Raj Darairaj, in Kuala Lumpur.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, issues of further development of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation by establishing a direct dialogue between business representatives of the two countries to explore the possibility of implementing joint investment projects and organizing export deliveries of Uzbekistan products to Malaysia were discussed at the meeting.
An agreement was reached to organize the visit of MUCC members led by its President Roshan Marisonos to Uzbekistan, including Khorezm and Bukhara regions, to sign a cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as to discuss practical aspects of implementation of joint investment projects by Malaysian companies. They include opening of a pilot training center and a modern logistics hub for organizing cargo transportation from Uzbekistan to foreign countries in Urgench by Phills and Midlands Aviation Pacific Asia, construction of a hotel in Bukhara by NL Innovations, studying the possibility of building a plant in Khorezm region by Eko Enviro Services for processing household waste for production of electrical power.
