Uzbekistan’s athletes to take part in the World Athletics Championships

World Athletics Championships will be held in Qatar on September 27 – October 6. 47 sets of medals will be played. Six athletes will represent Uzbekistan team.
Four Uzbekistan’s athletes will start on the first day of the competition. Nadia Dusanova and Svetlana Radzivil will join the championships in the high jump qualification. Then Ruslan Kurbanov will perform in the triple jump qualification. Sitora Khamidova will play for the first medal of the competition in the women’s marathon.
On October 2, a two-day struggle will begin in the heptathlon. Ekaterina Voronina will represent Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan’s Andrey Petrov starts in a marathon on October 5.
