President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has met with Uzbek and foreign bloggers who arrived at the Sharq Taronalari international music festival.

“In recent years, Uzbekistan has been opening up to the world and wishes to bring the whole truth to the international community. Crucially, you can discuss, criticize”, the President said.

The head of our state noted the bloggers’ important role in reporting on the reforms in the country, promoting the culture and historical heritage of our people at the international level, and that the policy of openness in Uzbekistan will continue.

“I am very glad to see you on the Uzbek land, in the ancient cradle of civilization, Samarkand. Today we are writing a new history of Uzbekistan. We seek to secure comfortable life for the people, to make sure that they look to the future with confidence. I hope you will contribute to these endeavors,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev siggested.

“I see our bloggers among you. I feel proud of this fact. Know that the President will always support you,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev pointed out.

At the end of the meeting, the President posed for a photo with bloggers and wished them good luck.
