Uzbekistan's Ambassador meets with Managing Director of Aquila Emas

On August 16, 2019, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov met with Managing Director of Aquila Emas, Syarizan Md. Isa.
Founded in 2005, Aquiula Emas produces special video and audio clips and films commissioned by television and radio companies. In 2015, the company shot the feature film "Fajar Di Bukhara" (Dawn in Bukhara) in Bukhara region. This film was shown on television in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia and was awarded the prestigious Anugerah Telenovela Award 2015 (Best Telenovela).
At the meeting, the Malaysian side praised the fundamental changes being carried out in Uzbekistan and innovative reforms in the film industry, including rebate of foreign film companies when creating their products in our country, provided for by the Decree of the President “On measures for further development of tourism industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, signed on August 13, 2019.
Following the negotiations, a concrete agreement was reached on organizing a visit of Syarizan Md. Isa to Uzbekistan in October this year to discuss practical issues of filming a new 26-episode television series in Khorezm region, documentary-chronicles, including the historical and legendary personalities of our country, as well as creation of unique issues of the travel show on tourism potential of the country by order of the popular Malaysian television channels.
