On July 30, 2019, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia attended the International Healthcare Conference and Exhibition 2019.

International Healthcare Conference and Exhibition is held annually by the Ministry of Health and the Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia. The event was attended by more than 200 companies engaged in production of medicines and medical devices, provision of medical and outpatient services, as well as medical research centers from South-East Asia, Europe and America.

A number of bilateral meetings were held within the framework of the exhibition to discuss issues of further expansion of trade-economic and investment cooperation, as well as attracting know-how and advanced technologies to the economy of Uzbekistan.

Following the negotiations, agreements were reached with Joint Commission International Rating Agency on the possibility of accreditation of Uzbekistan Medical Institutions to determine the compliance of the level of medical services to international standards; on consideration of possibility of introducing innovative software solutions of CWORKS for medical institutions of the country; with EMA Global to study the possibility of establishing cooperation with relevant companies of the country in international transport of patients with provision of necessary medical care; on consideration of possibility of organizing joint production of rapid disinfection products (“hand sanitizers”) with Next Level Technologies.
