Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with residence in Beijing, Bakhtiyor Saidov presented his credentials to the President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte, in Malacanang Palace.

At the meeting, the President of the Philippines noted the trend in development of relations between the two countries both in bilateral and multilateral formats, including the UN.

The President of the Philippines commended the socio-political changes and socio-economic reforms carried out in the country under the leadership of the Head of the state.

Common interests in various areas of cooperation were also noted during the conversation.

Special attention was paid to prospects of trade-economic and investment cooperation.

Following the conversation, the President of the Philippines expressed his respect to the President of Uzbekistan and conveyed his best wishes to him.
