Cooperation in museology is established with the United States

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with representatives of Art and Culture Development Foundation at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Smithsonian Institution (the United States).
As it was noted at the meeting, during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in May 2018 to the United States, a joint memorandum was signed between the Art and Culture Development Foundation at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Smithsonian Institution of the United States. The document is aimed at expanding cooperation in education, history, art and culture.
The Smithsonian Institution, founded in 1846, is the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex, with 19 museums and the National Zoo – shaping the future by preserving heritage, discovering new knowledge, and sharing resources with the world.
