On November 28, Tashkent hosted Uzbekistan – Czech business forum and a cooperation exchange within the framework of the visit of the delegation led by the Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Vojtech Filip.
The events were attended by representatives of companies and entrepreneurs of both countries operating in the spheres of foreign economic relations, trade, investment, construction, energy, pharmaceuticals, and industry.
A proposal was forwarded on development of cooperation in the energy sector between the two countries.
During the negotiations, prospects for cooperation in production of equipment for nanomaterials with air and water filtration properties in Uzbekistan were discussed.
At B2B meetings, the parties discussed the issues of creation of joint ventures in such mutually beneficial areas as trade-economic cooperation, production of building materials, energy and pharmaceuticals.
Within the framework of the forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.
