Tashkent hosts workshop on Halal Tourism

The State Committee for Tourism Development together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a workshop on Halal Tourism.
The workshop is conducted by experts of the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (SESRIC OIC, Ankara).
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at the event, such themes as “Understanding Halal: Concept, Definition”, “Halal Tourism and Muslim Hospitality: Definition and Concepts”, “Halal Tourism Standards Worldwide”, “Halal Tourism Strategy for Uzbekistan (planning and discussion)” will be considered.
