A group of deputies of the European Parliament led by the Chair of the Delegation for Relations with Central Asia and Mongolia Iveta Grigule-Peterse visits Uzbekistan.
On October 31, guests met with the leadership and students of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent. They got acquainted with the process of training for high-tech industries – automotive, building architecture and information technologies, aerospace engineering created for students.
Members of the delegation noted that reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in the last two years in various fields, including social, are yielding positive results. A high assessment was given to conditions created for harmonious development of youth.
On this day, members of the European Parliament visited the Khastimam complex, got acquainted with historical and spiritual monuments. The work carried out in the country on preserving cultural heritage, its popularization aroused great interest among the guests.
