Meetings with experts from Spain, in particular, with the President of the International Tourism Association of Professionals Jose Luis Lorenzo, with the expert of the UN World Tourism Organization Edith Szivas were held within the framework of creation of the ITU Silk Road program.
Foreign partners shared their visions in organization of the ITU Silk Road and gave practical advice. Specialists from Uzbekistan together with foreign partners are developing new programs, which will be awarded international titles. Students at the university will receive both theoretical and practical knowledge. Upon graduation from the university, students will receive international diplomas.
It is important to note that other areas of tourism development were also discussed. In Uzbekistan, tented camps will be built with participation of foreign investors.
