Uzbekistan business delegation arrives in India

Delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan arrives in the city of Delhi (India) from August 6 to 8. It includes about 40 representatives, including heads of sectoral ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investment, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, representatives of 6 regional khokimiyats on investment and innovation issues.
The business visit is planned within the framework of preparation for the 11th meeting of Uzbekistan – India intergovernmental commission for trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation to be held in Tashkent on August 16-18 with the support of the State Committee for Investment of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The program of the visit includes participation in three business forums with representatives of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and India – CIS Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Meetings will be held with the leadership of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India, the Ministry of Finance, the External Affairs Ministry and a number of representatives of India’s largest companies.
According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investment, during the business trip, it is planned to discuss promising areas of cooperation for working out specific investment projects in various spheres of the economy.
