NBU conducted negotiations with Natixis

On July 20, 2018, within the framework of the 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the French Republic, negotiations were held between the National Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity and Natixis bank, in Paris.
During the negotiations, issues of expanding cooperation on financing investment projects, including projects of small businesses and private entrepreneurship, envisaging the import of high-tech equipment and services from France and other countries of the European Union were discussed.
According to the National Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity, issues for perspective cooperation, concluding agreements in the field of export financing and allocation of loans for supporting strategic projects were also considered.
Establishing cooperation with Natixis bank will give a new impetus to development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and will facilitate further entry of French business into Uzbekistan.
