The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by the Minister for Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjayev will pay an official visit to Belgium on June 5-8, to participate in the 15th meeting of Uzbekistan – EU Cooperation Committee and the 13th meeting of the Subcommittee on Economy, Trade and Investment with the European Union. The delegation will also include representatives of the State Committee for Investments, the National Center for Human Rights, “Uztuqimachiliksanoat” (Uzbekistan Textile Industry) association, as well as the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

In addition to participating at the meeting of the Cooperation Committee and the meeting of the Subcommittee on Economy, Trade and Investment, members of the delegation will also meet with representatives of business circles of the EU countries. Thus, on the days of the visit, meetings are planned with representatives of the Flanders Investment and Trade Agency (FIT), the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Brussels Enterprises Commerce and Industry (BECI), the Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX), as well as deputies of the European Parliament. 

As reported by the Press Service of the Ministry for Foreign Trade, the meeting of the Subcommittee on Economy, Trade and Investment of the EU is scheduled for June 6.
