On April 30, the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation from Switzerland led by Peter Blaser, the head of the pilot delegation of the World Air Sports Federation (FAI, Switzerland). The meeting was opened by Deputy Chairman Shokhrukh Sharakhmetov. He expressed sincere admiration for the flights and offered to promote the development of aeronautics in Uzbekistan.

Following the results of the large-scale trip organized jointly by the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the World Air Sports Federation, an annual calendar of 40,000 copies will be issued, illustrations of which will be taken from Uzbekistan. 

The meeting was also attended by Takhir Saliyev, Chairman of the Federation of Aeronautics of Uzbekistan, Takhir Nazarov, Head of Department State Inspection of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Flight Safety Supervision, Abdukarim Radjabov, Head of the Main Center of the Unified Airspace Management System of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Abdurakhmanov Jamshid, Chief of the Duty Shift.

Delegates shared their impressions and noted that memories from flights over Uzbekistan remained unforgettable and they hope to return here again. Peter Blaser noted that each of the cities is unique. Despite difficulties in launching and landing a balloon in busy cities, world-class pilots have successfully coped with the task. Kindness and responsiveness of people of Uzbekistan impressed the members of the delegation, they helped the guests everywhere and met them very hospitably.
