More than 100 tourists from Germany, France, Switzerland, Brazil, the UK and Singapore visited Kashkadarya region in April.
It is noteworthy that among the travelers there was the Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore – Teo Chee Hean, who wished to visit Uzbekistan as a tourist.
Tourists travelling by train on the route of the Great Silk road, was solemnly met by the khokim of Kamashi district and the authorized representative of the Committee on Tourism Development of Kashkadarya region.
According to the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development, guests visited Kamashi district, where they got acquainted with the culture and traditions of the local population.
A special impression on the guests was made by demonstration performances – “Kelin salom”, putting the child in "Beshik" and singing lullaby "Alla".
Uzbek dances left nobody indifferent, guests started dancing after hearing the rhythms of doira!
After a tea party around the Uzbek dastarkhan, the tourists left for Shakhrisabz to see the majestic Ak Saray and other attractions of hospitable Shakhrisabz!
