It was attended by deputies of the Japanese Parliament, representatives of ministries and departments, leading banks and financial organizations, companies and corporations. 

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Botir Asadov, senior corporate advisor of “Mitsubishi Corporation” Mikio Sasaki, deputy chairman of the Japanese parliamentary friendship league with Uzbekistan, deputy of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Parliament Kiyohiko Toyama and others delivered speeches at the forum.

Participants of the event were informed in detail on the main priorities of the Development Strategy of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021, large-scale reforms that are being carried out in all spheres of society, specific and targeted measures, being adopted on qualitative improvement of business and investment climate, policies on comprehensively stimulating entrepreneurship, favorable conditions created for successful and unhindered business. 

Uzbekistan – Japan investment forum on “New developments of economic reforms in Uzbekistan” was widely covered by Japanese mass media, in particular, materials were published in newspapers “Sankei Shimbun”, “The Sekai Nippo”, IA “Kyodo News”.
