Uzbekistan’s national association of nongovernmental non-profit organizations has submitted more than 70 proposals to the draft state programme for implementing the 2017-2021 Strategy on five priority areas of the development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Year of Active Entrepreneurship, Innovative Ideas and Technologies.
Discussion of these proposals has taken place in the media hall of the national association of electronic mass media of Uzbekistan.
The event was arranged in cooperation with the national association of electronic mass media, the Senate and Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (parliament), the development strategy centre, the national human rights centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Mahalla public charity foundation.
It was said that in the past short period of time, nearly 4 thousand people’s opinions and proposals on the draft state programme had been sent. This shows that people are not indifferent to reforms being implemented in this country.
During the event, proposals on the draft state programme were analysed. Specifically, it was said that there was a need to step up cooperation between government departments and nongovernmental non-profit organizations.
Opinions were expressed on arranging training courses at neighbourhood consultancy centres for people desiring to engage in entrepreneurship.
