In the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis (parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a presentation of the work of the institute of legislative issues and parliamentary research under Oliy Majlis has taken place. 

Deputy Rahimjon Hakimov has been appointed to the post of this institute’s director. 

There are 37 staff positions at the institute. There 7 departments have started working on improving laws on various spheres. 

The institute serves as a scientific centre for deeply analysing various proposals coming in to Oliy Majlis.
