On November 22-25, 2017, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to the Republic of Korea at the invitation of President Moon Jae-in. 

During the high-level negotiations, it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues on bilateral agenda, prospects for further development of interstate relations in political, trade-economic, financial-investment, scientific-technical, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, exchange views on regional and international issues. 

The Head of our state will also meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, will visit Uzbekistan – South Korea business forum with participation of heads of leading economic and financial structures of the two countries. 

Following the visit, adoption of a Joint Statement on comprehensive deepening of the strategic partnership by the Presidents of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, as well as signing of significant intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents, commercial agreements and contracts providing for strengthening and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, is expected.
