An event dedicated to the memory of the First President of our country, and presentation of “My First President” collection of works in English was held at Uzbekistan state university of world languages.

Rector of the University G.Rakhimov, the spouse of the First President of our country Tatyana Karimova and others shared their memories of Islam Karimov. It was noted that such noble qualities of the founder of independence of our country, as dedication, patriotism, justice, sincerity, love for people are a vivid example for all of us, especially for youth. 

“My First President” essays competition in English, organized by the Scientific-educational memorial complex named after Islam Karimov, the Republican charitable public foundation named after Islam Karimov, the Ministry of higher and secondary special education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan state university of world languages and other partner organizations, was attended by students of universities of our country. The commission of the competition considered more than 500 works, 36 of them are included in the collection. 

Within the framework of the event, a photo exhibition dedicated to the life and activity of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was also held, “The First President and youth” video was presented. 

Winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and gifts.
