The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Law of  "On the establishment of the Day of workers of culture and art of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

At the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on March 29-30.

On 24–26 March 2022, Tashkent will host the first Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF).

22 March declared as the Day of Workers of the Mahalla System

The most ancient national holiday Navruz which is celebrated on March, 21st, is considered the beginning of new year.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan's membership in the United Nations (UN).

On January 26, our country celebrates the Day of workers of the state customs service. It was established by the Law No. ZRU-507 dated December 22, 2018.

This holiday in independent Uzbekistan is celebrated in honor of creation of own Armed forces. The parliament of the country on 14th January, 1992 has made a decision on transition of all parts and connections, military educational institutions and other military formations deployed in territory of the country, under jurisdiction of the Republic of Uzbekistan. So the beginning was necessary to creation of own Armed forces. On 29th December, 1993 January 14th has been declared by Day of defenders of the Native land.

This festival is celebrated widely in Uzbekistan and is considered as a holiday.

On November 23-27, 2021, the next International Week of Innovative Ideas "InnoWeek.Uz-2021" will be held at the Ministry of Innovative Development with the active participation of foreign research and innovation centers, investment funds, technology agencies, technology parks and business incubators.
