Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres will arrive in Uzbekistan on 9 June at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. 

World Environment Day is the biggest annual event for positive environmental action and takes place every 5 June. This year’s host country Canada got to choose the theme and will be at the centre of celebrations around the planet.

International children's day annually celebrated on 1st June, in many countries this day is celebrated as International day of children's rights.

In 1999 majestic Square of Memory has been opened in capital of Uzbekistan on 9th May and since then Day of memory and honor on May, 9th is celebrated.

On May 7, our country celebrates the Communications Workers' Day - a professional holiday of workers of all branches of communication.

The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the current Chairmanship in the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will participate in the regular meetings of the Senior Officials and the Islamic Commission for Economic, Cultural and Social Affairs, which will be held from 27 April to 2 May 2017 in Jeddah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

On April 25, 2017, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu will arrive in Uzbekistan with an official visit.

A meeting of the Council of foreign ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will take place on 7 April in Tashkent.
